Boardroom Salon for Men: Zenoti powers sophisticated end-to-end experience

To match the sophisticated experience customers receive in its 42 salons across seven U.S. states, Boardroom Styling Lounge sought to elevate the booking process. With Zenoti, Boardroom upgraded its POS, communication system, customer mobile app, and more.

Boardroom was founded in 2004 and built around the idea of a luxury salon for men. The Boardroom leads the industry with innovations and unlimited haircut memberships, full benefits for team members, focus on an outstanding client experience, and our signature benchmark haircut. We determined in 2019 that we needed to upgrade our core systems to elevate our clients' experience that matched our sophisticated in-salon experience.

With the Zenoti platform, we upgraded our POS and online booking, client communications via email and text, and upgraded customer mobile app, reporting to improve our operations, and our back-end system third-party integrations and reporting. The Zenoti Go feature for a convenient and contactless check-in and checkout experience allows our team to focus on the client while giving him the ease of checking in or checking out.

We were looking to build a new, branded customer mobile app for our clients, and we're delighted that Zenoti had this as part of their platform. Our customers enjoy the convenience of booking an appointment directly from their mobile device and reviewing their past appointments. Our team members enjoy being able to connect with clients through text with Zenoti Connect.

They are able to remind them of appointments, especially if they haven't seen a client in a while, as well as share any special promotions that might be happening. Team members are able to see basic performance metrics on their personal device via the Zenoti employee app, which was not a capability we had previously. Zenoti support team partnered with us through planning, data, migration, testing and implementation.
