My name is Saniya Husain. I grew up in Nagpur, Maharashtra and went to Hyderabad for my MBA. I joined Zenoti through a campus placement when I was bubbling with curiosity and an eagerness to explore. Straight away Zenoti saw me for who I am, and every day since it has only brought me closer to who I want to be. The people, culture, and steep learning curve combine to create a unique ecosystem, propelling each of us to achieve greatness, together!
Early Zenoti Experience
I started as a product specialist at Zenoti, where I was tasked with onboarding different businesses across niche segments onto the Zenoti platform. Back in 2016, when I was straight out of business school, I vividly recall being given opportunities to work with some of the biggest global brands in the industry within my first few months at Zenoti. One particular experience was onboarding one of India’s premier salon brands with over 40 global locations. That required handling and training individuals from diverse backgrounds and left a lasting impression on me.
As I think back, I feel it was amazing that Zenoti gave me these opportunities so early on in my career. And throughout, I felt supported and empowered to think like an entrepreneur. My learning continued over the next couple of years as I was deeply involved in end-to-end processes, from planning to successful customer onboarding with complete ownership of my decisions.
These early responsibilities helped cement my desire to strengthen my multi-domain expertise and understanding of cross-functional requirements across geographies. This awareness continues to set me up for success even today.
What Came Next
Each of these experiences helped guide my career path and I decided to move from India to the United States. Since then, I have onboarded over 200 customers onto Zenoti.
This involved solving a range of operational challenges that customers faced, such as customizing the product for new market segments, adopting cloud-based solutions, integrating different systems, scheduling, bookings and more!
From the get-go, I was encouraged to be my ‘own CEO’ - to seekout resources and build relationships to drive positive business outcomes. Overall, it was a very humbling experience. Especially when business owners of global brands that I really admire were asking me to be the architect for their business transitions!

Everyday feels like a new beginning, new opportunities, new challenges and a better way to do things. Even after six years, and four promotions it feels like I am just getting started.

I am an avid reader, always up for a gaming challenge, and love vivid colours on a canvas. I have been fortunate to explore different aspects of my personality at Zenoti while making deeper connections with myself and taking on new passions. I believe opportunities are shaped by chance but accomplished through commitment and a single-minded determination to take up challenges. I wholevheartedly believe in Zenoti’s reason for existence and look forward to scaling boundaries with new adventures.
