Rumors Salon boosts growth and client experience with Zenoti software
My name is Julie Schumacher. I own Rumors Salon. We have two locations in Scottsdale, Arizona. One of the things that really helps our business be successful is that we've had very low turnover, and so it's always a familiar face.
It's taken us a little time, after having been with another software for so long, to get our feet wet, but I really feel like we're starting to see all the benefits of the reporting and the marketing and all of the things that weren't available to us before. We really started to take advantage of targeted emails. They've been huge for us.
One other thing: Clients are used to us doing a back-to-school liter sale. With Zenoti, not only could we just put it out to our entire client base, but we've been able to target people that have participated in those sales in the previous years, and we've actually seen an increase, from year over year. So, that was pretty exciting.
The fact that it's a cloud-based solution is different than our last software providers. I mean, what were we thinking? I don't know why it took us so long because it's just really opened up so many opportunities for my managers. If a team member's calling out sick, the ability to access, and then also the ezConnect. Because you don't want to call a client from your home phone number, but the fact that we can still communicate with them from our homes, but on behalf of the business, has been a game changer.
Growth is a little bit different for me. I'm actually kind of interested in diversifying in the industry, but not just salons that look just like mine. And to know that there's a tool like Zenoti that can support me in those different types of businesses, and I don't have to relearn that part is great. I already have people that I know I can count on and trust, and that it's going to be there for me when I need it. It's such a more robust tool than anything else out there that whatever you're afraid of, just let it go because it's well worth it.
