What I’m really looking forward to with Zenoti is the way they’re expanding their mobile offerings. Already, they’ve just shown such great growth in that area, and we know that’s where our clients are.

I’m Michelle Brisbois, and I’m the vice president of franchise operations for Frenchies Modern Nail Care. What’s unique about Frenchies is, we like to say we’re posh without the price, which is really new in the express nail salon market. It’s our goal to have our guests come in as often as they want to or as often as they need to for the very best in hand and foot care.

When we opened even our third location with Frenchies, we knew that we needed the right software vendor to help us scale, to help us grow as a franchise system, and that’s when we switched over to Zenoti as our software system because it is designed to support enterprise or franchise systems, and we knew it would help us to rapidly grow.

A nail salon is really unique from other salons in that we really only offer two services: manicures and pedicures, but we like to customize those services to elevate those services, make it really unique and spa-like for our clients, and our software has to help support us in doing just that.

Our guest experience starts with online booking, calling the studio, or using a mobile app to make an appointment. Sixty to seventy percent of our clients are using a mobile device to book, and when they come in, they want to use it to even check out or to add on services, so that’s the future of being a modern experience inside a salon.

A core aspect of our business is the ability for our clients to have memberships with us. This lets them commit to the regular nail care that we know is so important for them, you know, to have that fun little beauty break, and Zenoti lets us do that. It’s truly the foundation for how we can have memberships.

As a franchisor, [I find] Zenoti is a very important partner of ours. In fact, I use the word “partner” instead of “vendor” because that’s how much we rely on them to allow us to scale, to allow us to set our franchisees up for success, to help them get trained and ready to make the most of their studios, and we just couldn’t do that without a partner like Zenoti.
