Limiting Access to Data
Zenoti makes it hard for any user to access data beyond what they should see. So, the front desk receptionists can only see data pertinent to their functioning. For example, they do not have access to financial information beyond their own collections for the day, or while they can access guest profiles, they cannot take exports of entire lists. Similarly, service providers, managers and other users are restricted to their usage in the system.
Limiting Access to Specific Computers
A powerful benefit of cloud solutions like Zenoti, is that users can access their account and data from anywhere, anytime. This makes it easy for a service provider to check their schedule, or managers to monitor the day remotely.
However, there are certain roles that do not require anytime, anywhere access. For example, a front desk receptionist rarely works beyond their scheduled hours in front of the desk.
As an owner, you can control which computers can be used to access the software. Simply use the “Authenticate Machine” feature to restrict users to access their account from a single machine only.
Machine Authentication is a one-time process. Once you’ve authenticated a machine, you won’t need to do it again. Your staff can use the authenticated machines to access the software.
