Here’s how it works.
As soon as a customer books an appointment, whether it’s online or by calling in to your front desk, Zenoti automatically sends an acknowledgement SMS with the appointment details.
An additional SMS can be set to be sent to a customer before their appointment (e.g. 24 hours, 36 hours) asking the customer to confirm their appointment for the next day through SMS.
If the customer responds with a confirmation, your appointment book automatically reflects that the appointment is confirmed. With Zenoti’s appointment book, unconfirmed appointments show as orange in the appointment book. On confirmation the color changes to green. Ideally, your appointment book should be full of green blocks when the receptionist opens the appointment book every morning. In the case it’s not, she has a reduced number of guests to follow-up to confirm their appointment.
